Pondering about balance

My son is Dyspraxic, which means that matching crockery is something that other people have, as he has tremors in his hands, and his co-ordination is sometimes difficult for him to control.

So why is he so amazingly good at skateboarding, indoor climbing, windsurfing (he tried it at Center Parcs and didn't fall off once during the whole hour!) and standing-up-on-a-sledge-and-hurtling-down-a-hill-at-silly-miles-an-hour?

I understand that our crockery is a victim of problems with fine motor skills, but extreme sports require constant small adjustments to maintain balance.

Perhaps it's all just a ruse to avoid the washing up?
