If ever you wondered if it is worth fighting for support for children with SpLDs

...... you only need to read some of the posts asking for help online.

The mother of one twelve year old Dyslexic boy is full of despair and doesn't know where to turn.

She had to collect him from school twice last week.

He was huddled in the corner of the classroom, stabbing himself with a pen.

If a more stark and frightening image of the effects of unsupported learning issues was possible, I can't think of it.

Or rather, I don't want to.

At least one in ten children.

At least 10% of ALL pupils.

Please do something.

Raise the issues surrounding the lack of appropriate educational support for children with SpLDs by contacting your MP, MEPs and Councillors.

People will assume that everything is fine unless we present them with the stark reality that it is not.

You can do it now, via email, via this link HERE.

It will take you just a few minutes.
